- During my first few months at Beloit, I seriously considered transferring. Beloit has its faults, sure, but I am happy here and I am ready to make the most of my time and education.
- Long story short, I have reevaluated the possible outcomes of my life and concluded that no education is worth graduating with a tremendous amount of debt. No struggle has been more painful than the reconciliation of my realism and idealism.

- Possible transfer. One of Beloit's sister colleges of the Midwest. Beautiful campus (and library!) that makes Beloit's pale in comparison. Likely a better fit. World-renowned creative writing program and a more involved curriculum.
