• went to toronto w. my bf over the weekend. just took a two hour drive there, stayed for two nights. it was amazing. we walked 10km in two days, just exploring downtown and exploring different resturants, cafes, game shops, bars, comedy clubs, the aquarium, vintage stores. we went to the CN tower but we didn't go in it because it was expensive (CAD$ 100 for two!) & we figured it's fine because our airbnb had a nice view from being on the 32 floor lol.
  • first we went to a cafe and we got some brownies, then we went into our hotel and set our stuff down, took a shower, got situated, etc... then we decided to explore, so we drove to a coffee shop & parked and went into the aquarium. then from the aquarium, we went walking all over. like through the financial district, through chinatown, through bloor street, I think? my internet data was not working so i was just kinda going with the flow. it was cold out and I didn't have a coat but it was still nice and sunny.
  • went to the comedy show, we got roasted by 5 comedians at the comedy show because we were sitting by the stage and we were perfect scapegoats lol. we tried edibles. fun fact that i didn't know was that, canadian cannabis is not as potent as american cannabis lol. i'm usually perfectly good w/ 2.5mg of THC, but i wasn't feeling anything with that same amount in toronto, but I didn't really mind.
  • on our last day, we decided to go to missisgua on our way back, and we visited the mall there. I was able to try the japanese fruit cakes w/ the cream and strawberries I've always seen on IG and tumblr lol. That was sweet and tasty. Then I couldn't help myself- I also got one of those japanese fluffy cheesecakes. It was soooo good, and I'm ashamed to admit I ate all of it. Like... that was not healthy for me, but, ~*~vacation~*~ it was still nice to just walk around and look at all the buildings. I took A TON of photos of everything and I'm just glad that my first trip to toronto was fun and nice and 20/10 would go again!! next time I go I'd love to do way more walking, explore the distillary district, check out more vintage shops, more cafes!
