• 1: while home alone, i laid on the couch and sang the beatles for a while. old music makes me smile.
• 10: after playing sushi cat in computers, gracie at my side, i discovered the sushi cat app and spent my evening watching the carrie diaries and playing sushi cat.
• 11: while mom and dad were at the poker party i stayed up late reading where'd you go bernadette by maria semple. grammy snoozed on the couch and i laid in the office with my blanket and my charles.
• 16: i worked out for an hour on the exercise bike. the music blaring in my ears, i felt so so happy. its a feeling i want to remember for a long time.
• 17: mom drove me all the way to barnes and noble just to get the new edition of rolling stone with lorde on it. she also let me try panera for the first time (not amazing). had a fun day. late night, i worked on my wreck this journal, including a page in tribute to natalie.
• 19: mom drove me to petsmart to get charles a pooper scooper. after under 24 hours of knowing about the divorce, mom got me a betta fish. her name is ella, after lorde, and we picked out all the cool stuff for her.
• 21: gram, mom, and i went to see nana on her 99th birthday! she was very good and we visited for a while. we took a "4 generation selfie" on mom's phone. very fun day.
• 24: our class was singing in practice for our mass at open house. we were singing you are mine, which was sung when natalie's coffin preceded. we felt like a community. lauren and i danced to royals at cotillion that night, and it was really nice and simple.
