I got high for the first time this year. Here are a few stories.

• Psychedelic Water
  • I wandered around work after drinking two cans, listening to music. It was very pleasant.

  • drank the tea and had a wonderful daydream session

• Mary Jane
  • made edibles for the first time and significantly underestimated their potency, so are half of all of it. Full trip, complete with hallucination: the world became cartoon-like and I saw a microwave on my floor that wasn't there. When I woke up I wasn't tripping, but was still high. Lasted for about 26 hours.
• Mush
  • First: had half a chocolate bar. Became friends with my reflection, danced and danced. Made a list of things I wanted to do, tore it up, threw it on the ground, and chose at random. It was absolutely wonderful. Some things I did:
    • went on a walk at night with my dog
    • danced
    • listened to plenty of trippy music
    • watched Midnight Gospel, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Little Witch Academia (not in that order).
    • watched trippy visuals on YouTube and TikTok.
  • Second: went on a walk during the day. Barely got anywhere, but was definitely tripping. Parts of the road were green and purple, trees seemed even taller than normal. At some point I leaned against a tree and felt myself rooting. The trees were alive and green, despite the fact that it's nearly December.
    • I also full-on sobbed over this sea shanty, but it wasn't because I was sad. I was just so happy that I love my friends and they love me.
  • Third: put bits of them in water and downed it. I went to the local cemetery and laid down in the grass, watching the clouds. The clouds were fractals, rotating, moving, the shapes seemed more vibrant, the white clouds turned slightly green and gray and rainbow-colored.
    • I closed my eyes and thought about the generations upon generations upon generations of people that have done this before me, from the unsuspecting person who didn't know better to the knowledgeable shaman. I called out to them, praying, and thanked them for allowing me to learn at their feet.
    • One of the gravestones read: "Remember me as you walk by. As you are now, so once was I. As I am now you too shall be, so prepare for death and follow me."
  • Fourth: tripped for the first time with someone else. It was okay -- I definitely prefer going solo. However, we all had a whole bar and it was very intense!
  • Fifth: dealt with the idea that I'd eaten mold and was going to die. Was not a bad trip, but it was intense.
