This list covers moments in life that can be described by something listed on TV Tropes. It should be noted that, by the very nature of this list and the source, this leans towards the dramatic. If you want to see a list that covers my personality through a similar lens, see this list

  • A Birthday, Not a Break ||| Crying at Your Birthday Party
    • At a certain point it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, so I do what I can to avoid any mention of my birthday at all. The best birthdays possible are ones where I have absolutely NO expectations!!! If I want to celebrate, then I'd rather do it before or after. I used to be a Birthday Hater, but now it really is just a matter of keeping my head down. I know to people who have their birthdays as a big celebration, this would seem terrible -- but for me it's perfect.
  • A Glitch in the Matrix
  • Ambiguous Criminal History
    • *laughs maniacally*
  • Ambiguously Related
    • On several separate occasions, spanning more than ten years now, there have been people in my area to stop me, ask if I have a sister, and then tell me I look exactly like someone else. Who is she? The world may never know. . . .
  • Anyone Can Die
  • Celibate Hero
  • Dark and Troubled Past
    • I feel as edgy writing it as you do reading it.
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Friends are Chosen, Family Aren't
  • Long Lost Relative
    • I've met a cousin from Canada before, completely by accident. She just happened to drop her last name (Irvine), and we started asking each other questions.
      • As a side note, if your last name is Irvine, or any variation thereof, we're probably related, too. After all, Same Surname Means Related
  • Really Royalty Reveal
    • I mean . . . kinda. It's not exactly anything special -- pretty much everyone is. Most just don't know it or can't trace it, but the chances are always high that that's the case.
  • The Stoic ---> Stoic Woobie
    • I'm endeavoring to be honest here, but I'm not asking for pity man 😂) Truthfully I'm not all that stoic anymore, but it was a major aspect of myself throughout my childhood and adolescence. Some of it still remains, but it's not like it once was.
    • once was, but is no longer: Tsundere, Did You Think I Can't Feel?
    • relatedly, but not 100%: the Spock
  • Unreliable Narrator
    • Bruh, this is really a given. Everyone is an unreliable narrator, because everyone is very limited in what they know, understand, and are capable of. However . . .
    • Mundane Horror ||| Through the Eyes of Madness
      • Things like depersonalization-derealization, OCD, etc, make for the case of scary times. So, the "narrator" isn't exactly reliable if they're trying to figure out if they're a real person or not!
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?
    • My parents were ones that didn't connect that the title of Kick-Ass was Kick-Ass, and thought they were going to see a kid's movie in theaters. They still let me when they realized, but they were definitely surprised haha
  • Will They or Won't They?
    • A couple of years ago, there was a person who I worked with. We had this sort of dynamic that drug out for months. The company is HUGE, and it was unfortunately something that almost everyone we worked with knew about. A whole thing, really.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years
    • I was constantly told this growing up.
