I went to see The Marvels. Yes, it was good. I was afraid it wouldn't be, after Multiverse of Madness and Wakanda Forever, but it was. I even felt for Carol Danvers more than I have in any of the other times she's popped up. The only complaint I really have is that we could have done without the musical scene, but it's not as if though it dragged on.

Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel), did an especially good job. I love her character, but I wasn't blown away by her show (or, maybe just the first season?), so it was good to see her really come through in this one.

So many people have bitched and moaned about how terrible it's going to be -- turns out it was quite good, and I'm happy. I just hope that more people give it a chance!
