- 3 years old: cracked my lip open on the coffee table. Still have a scar.
- 7 years old: took off the skin on my elbow while attempting to skateboard for the first time. No scar.
- 8 years old: pierced my knee with super sharp scissors. Still have a scar.
- 11 years old: open heart surgery. Very large scar from surgery, small scar from chest tube.
- 16 years old: Type II concussion from falling down a set of icy stairs. Out of school for the week because I was incapacitated from the vicodin.
- 16 years old: Hyper-extended knee from falling while skiing.
- 16 years old: I felt sick one night and went to go get some water from downstairs only to fall down the stairs and projectile vomit at the same time. Classy.
- 17 years old: Weird abcsess on my butt for no apparent reason. Had to get drained and cut off. No scar.
- 18 years old: Epic high-speed crash into a plastic barrier while skiing. No real injuries, but it was fantastic enough to inspire me to write this list.
