• submit 5 eBird lists: close! 4. getting a bird feeder helped with this.
  • hide 3 good, worthy geocaches: I hid 1. I lost interest somewhat in this hobby once life got more hectic. The culture of caching is different in St Louis than it was in San Diego.
  • plan & execute a social/media detox: painfully slowly. little progress was made.
  • learn some new bird jokes & use them on people
  • write 24 letters (2/month): not even close.
  • write 12 reviews: this did not end up interesting me as much as I thought it was going to
  • create & submit a Wheezy Waiter wink video complete with banjo
  • deepen my appreciation of something: insects
  • cultivate a daily drawing habit one month
  • keep a gratitude journal
  • go camping/travel with Caroline: we met up in the Smokies!
  • find a way to volunteer in St. Louis: a few lovely months spent at Wild Bird Rehab
  • edit the past year & a half's video into something enjoyable: lost it all in a hard drive failure instead cool cool
  • experience the total solar eclipse: for a few seconds, just south of the zoo while on the clock
  • go kayaking
  • Call/email/write a representative about something I care about deeply: tried to contact Sock It To Me but the letter got bounced back to me. At least I tried.
  • visit the Wild Bird Sanctuary
  • choose a khan academy/code academy/some other class & complete it
  • try embroidering something simple for someone to hang on their wall
  • build a bird feeder: bought one secondhand off Craigslist
  • participate in the Moonlight Ramble: I need a bike first tho
  • learn to crochet a simple, useful thing
  • begin a dino collection (this includes birds because birds are dinos)
