- submit 5 eBird lists: close! 4. getting a bird feeder helped with this.
- hide 3 good, worthy geocaches: I hid 1. I lost interest somewhat in this hobby once life got more hectic. The culture of caching is different in St Louis than it was in San Diego.
- plan & execute a social/media detox: painfully slowly. little progress was made.
- learn some new bird jokes & use them on people
- write 24 letters (2/month): not even close.
- write 12 reviews: this did not end up interesting me as much as I thought it was going to
- create & submit a Wheezy Waiter wink video complete with banjo
- ✔ deepen my appreciation of something: insects
- cultivate a daily drawing habit one month
- keep a gratitude journal
- ✔ go camping/travel with Caroline: we met up in the Smokies!
- ✔ find a way to volunteer in St. Louis: a few lovely months spent at Wild Bird Rehab
- ✔ edit the past year & a half's video into something enjoyable: lost it all in a hard drive failure instead cool cool
- ✔ experience the total solar eclipse: for a few seconds, just south of the zoo while on the clock
- go kayaking
- ✔ Call/email/write a representative about something I care about deeply: tried to contact Sock It To Me but the letter got bounced back to me. At least I tried.
- visit the Wild Bird Sanctuary
- choose a khan academy/code academy/some other class & complete it
- try embroidering something simple for someone to hang on their wall
- ✔ build a bird feeder: bought one secondhand off Craigslist
- participate in the Moonlight Ramble: I need a bike first tho
- learn to crochet a simple, useful thing
- begin a dino collection (this includes birds because birds are dinos)
- not lose my glasses
