- a woman (Sophie) was sitting at table 31 at Meshuggah with a sketch book, drawing and glancing up at Eli & I doing the crossword at the counter. after a short while, she showed us her drawing- all of us behind the counter! my head is down, studying the crossword, but you could see my glasses and my hair pulled up in a half pony.
- clawhammer style on the banjo is starting to 'click' for me! I freestyled a bit with All Creatures of Our God & King and now I'm basking in some banjo-y Sufjan Stevens. sublime.
- playing the mom's spaghetti lose yourself edit on a shift with kira & mike and just cracking up the whole time and maybe crying a little.
- changing the words to she'll be comin' round the mountain at work but then jen says she had that song stuck in her head for 7 years.
- having duct tape to fix a child's shoe and a safety pin to fix a woman's purse and heat pads for multiple menstruating women at work!
- During break yesterday we watched a 4 minute compilation of Nicolas Cage freaking out in films set to dramatic music.

- Nick's spooky story about a person on a quark who dies and turns into a ghost before the scientist's eyes in the microscope.
- Using the terms promposal and promise ring with Mike.
- I keep a compost box in my bedroom instead of trash or recycling. I put my hair into it. Anna saw it today and called me a hair witch. I told Mike about it and I said it's not like I'm making hair dolls and he said that's a slippery slope.
