keep in mind I have to fly back with everything :)
- socks. of any kind. I'm wearing holes in the heels of all of mine. I wear work boots at the park and those socks need to be thick & long & black or olive. I wear sneakers at the bakery/yogurt shop so I don't need thick socks, but nice socks that are ankle or mid calf height in any color are awesome. those can be sensible or silly.
- stationary! I write lots of letters
- stickers! big stickers for the car. smaller stickers for my laptop. stickers to affix to other belongings and letters. stickers to marvel at. like this or this
- a planner for 2016 (something with a lot of space for each day.) this is essential to juggling 4 jobs. something like this
- anything bird-related. like this or this or any of these
- nice markers, pens, pencils, other writing utensils. like these or these or these
- small candles for example
- artwork for my room! anything handmade.
- earbuds
- a field notebook for keeping track of wildlife sightings in/out of the park -needs to fit in a pocket likethis
- good size, good quality journals for making scrapbooks with all my college memorabilia like this
- gift card to a photo printing service.
- kindle battery (still haven't gotten around to purchasing one myself!):
- Things of this World by richard wilbur
- Letters of Fire by Fr. Thomas
- go birding with me! go walking with me! go to the art museum with me! go to the cathedral with me!
- a fisher space pen
- slippers
- wristwatch (maybe not a timex...)
- a silk pillowcase
- sticky pad to keep phone on car dashboard/some way to keep phone on dashboard
- things I can't have because of reflux: alcohol, chocolate, mint, lozenges/hard candy, tea, coffee, spicy foods, fatty foods (nuts, cheese). I'm sure to indulge a bit while I'm with you, but any help in avoiding all of the above (all of which I crave) is much appreciated! (I will definitely make exceptions for toasted ravioli, espresso from Crepes Etc., House of Chen...)
