Lunna is adapted from the Old Norse lundi, meaning "puffin".

Puffins are my favorite bird. I love that they are at home in every element: living in the sea, nesting on land, and flying. They are also monogamous and seen as good parents.

It would make a lovely name for a child who is gentle, observant, and quietly at home in the world.
