Beatrix is thought to be from Viatrix, a feminine form of the Late Latin name Viator meaning "voyager, traveller". It was altered in the middle ages to be associated with the Latin beatus meaning "blessed, happy".

It makes me think of the soft illustrations of Beatrix Potter, tea parties, and meadows.
