Hunter is from the Old English hunta meaning "one who engages in the chase of game or other wild animals".

This is one of Jay's favorite names and one of the few he says he'd actually use. I've never really considered it as I have a cousin whose middle name is Hunter. But, in the same vein as Cecilia, we don't talk so it's not a big deal. Different continents and all that.

I also had a dream that we had a little boy that we adopted called Hunter.
