Noema is from the Greek νόημα (noēma) which comes from νοῦς (nous) which refers to the highest faculty of the soul. Nous is the intuitive intellect, the part of the soul that perceives truth, beauty, and the divine. It is the deepest form of understanding and Noema is that perception or thought. It is the clear understanding of profound truths through contemplation and is more than a sensory experience.

Noema reminds me of Noemi but it feels warmer and now that I've looked into it more, it feels more thoughtful and I'm drawn to the philosophical aspect of it.
