• Feverishly created four pieces of art in a couple days
• Acquired a 1984 reprint of an antique cookbook
• Removed dangerous toxicity from my life
• Went to the Ferrers Centre for their 50th birthday & bought expensive bread at their deli
• Had a little surprise birthday party where everything was pink

August

• Activism work in Leicester
• Finally finished my strawberry/heart crochet bag
• Finished my New York cross stitch
• Found an antique (1905) guidebook to Leicester and neighbourhood
• Got an ungodly amount of great goods at Coalville charity shops
• Saw my friend jump out of a plane
• Ended the month in the quiet Norfolk countryside

September

• Saw an F-15 flying over
• Saw the sea & walked in the pebbly sands
• Visited & partially climbed the only functioning UK windmill still open to the public
• Drank many, many pints of Guinness
• Spent a rainy grey afternoon lost in a huge antiques warehouse
• Learned to play Ludo
• Sat out under the stars - saw a bright meteor as well as two consecutive nights of Starlink trains
• Ate seaside fish & chips
• Played at a seaside arcade for the first time (didn't win anything)
• Got to see Wells-Next-the-Sea again for the first time in 4 years
• Made a moth friend who decided to sleep on me
• Had a thunderstorm develop right on top of where I was staying
• Didn't draw for a solid week & felt better for it
• Maybe sort of kinda started feeling alive & happy again
• Visited Calke Abbey's house & garden for the first time & saw the deer herd from a close vantage point
• Battled a nasty respiratory infection all month after the holiday ended

October

• Tore rib muscles & went to 2 different hospitals
• Bought books to read for the first time in actual years
• More in-person activism <3
• Started playing WoW again
• Cooked & baked up a storm once I was well enough again
• Pretended to be a spider at the Halloween stitch & bitch event (I was dared)
• Took myself on a coffee/shopping/autumn walk date
• Charity shop crawl in Oadby & Clarendon Park
• Attended a mini shrine making workshop & embraced wild creativity
