- sunday mornings,getting dressed for church with my grandmother

- watching MASH late at night with my grandfather in the big rocking chair

- riding to town and sitting in the spquare for what seemed like hours
- sno-cones after sitting in church
- $5 checks in the mail for holidays
- looking through the file cabinet at pens and other random stuff
- baking tea cakes for grandaddy
- getting odd gifts that kids shouldnt get like a microwave or a toaster
- handcarved gifts
