- a cat named Marmalade that sleeps in the sunlight and curls up next to me at night
- an olive green typewriter and an old mahogany desk, inherited from a Chilean poet, where I'll write my novels
- a powder blue bicycle with a wicker basket and a bell
- a white rowboat that I'll use to row out on the lake
- a bookshop (with a flower box under the window) from which I will earn my living
- a scruffy man that will love me, make me laugh, watch movies with me, and discuss literature and philosophy with me until dawn
