- Was invited to a baby shower in San Francisco
- Visited Vancouver, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Hoonah, Skagway, and Anchorage on a trip around Alaska
- Saw a glacier from a boat in the middle of the ocean
- Visited an animal sanctuary and got to see grizzly bears, moose, elk, and musk oxen up close
- Went on a business trip to Acapulco
- Reconnected with an old friend that I hadn't seen in 2 years
- Had to have emergency surgery (I am now sans my right fallopian tube)
