- master your thoughts through understanding. consider their origins by asking yourself questions. "why do I think this?" "why is this valuable to me?" "what is a healthier alternative to this way of thinking?" be vigilant in this effort, but kind to yourself.
- refuse finding personal identity/worth in material things. deny the power of capitalistic living. deny the power of the purely decorative.
- understand dependency as a human being upon the rest of creation. find humility in this, show respect for the other beings that provide for the human population. reject a hierarchy of life in which humans sit atop.
- work to understand the natural world and it's processes. respect the sovreignty of other beings and adjust self processes to reflect this respect.
- stand tall. recognize the worth of self and do not accept the imposition of a lesser self-worth by others.
- give thanks. always.
- be a good partner. listen. be kind. be gentle. love with selfless intentions.
- let go and be present, truly present for your life. despite intention, plans, goals, hopes...life is more than what we can ourselves control. try your best, but know and embrace that the universe is much bigger than a single ego. let go, and be present. relish living.
- be considerate of your consumption. consider what you expose your mind, body, spirit and emotions to. consider the effect and make conscious decisions in your consumption.
- recognize your gifts. know what you are good at, and develop those skills. understand that there is a reason you posess this greatness and consider the potentional for you to appy your gifts to betteter your environment (beings, places, communities, nature, the world, any and all of it.)
