Invented holiday brainstorm - a work in progress

• Snooty attire: ascots, monocles, fascinators, walking sticks, boutineers, spats, petticoats, boas, top hats, pocket squares, arm bands, cigarette holders
• Colors are jewel tones, sepia, pinstripe
• Symbol is a cat wearing a monocle. Made into party favors: magnets, cloth napkins, cermamic mugs, stickers etc. We can raise the fat cat flag.
• Everyone can respond to toasts with tut tut, cheerio, good show, huzzah and the like.
• A pompous celebration of excess.
• Pretentious food and drinks of old world money: little bites, sidecars, truffles, finger sandwiches
• Or... start shedding snob clothes and eat cheese whiz, moonpies, deep fried twinkies, chilighetti and so on.
• If going the cheap food route, listen to Monsters of Rock, Motley Crue, NWA, Snoop Dogg
• Small keg IPA (hence firkin),RC Cola and whipped cream vodka
