  • Psittaciformes - Parrots (with the exception of the Kea and the Kakapo)
  • Aptenodytes forsteri - Emperor Penguins
  • Ceratiidae - Deep sea Anglerfish take monogamy to an extreme
  • Canis lupis - Wolves (for the most part)
  • Peromyscus californicus - California Mouse
  • Microtus ochrogaster - Prairie Voles  
  • Columbidae - Pigeons
