• Jayce Talis

Jayce and Cassian meet fairly young at 10 years old, following the events of Jayce and his mother's - Ximena's - recovery from their hiking incident. After conversating about Cassian's broken arm, and Jayce's cool rock, they find each other at school and remain friends from then on out. Jayce was there when Cassian's brother Briar, died while out on the field as an enforcer, and was there when Cassian renounced the idea of becoming an officer himself. From then on out, Jayce's HexTech dream turned into their HexTech dream, and the two pursuit their goals of combining magic and machine. To help people.

• Viktor

Cassian meets Viktor pretty late into the storyline, right after the events of episode 3 take place. They meet the same day Cassian sees Jayce for the first time in 4 years, aside from when Cassian attends Jayce's trial following the explosion of his apartment. They work together as co-founders of HexTech.

• Mel Medarda

Mel and Cassian formally interact with each other for the first time when he's introduced as the second co-founder of HexTech. They were both 24 years old.

• Sky Young

After Viktor persuades Jayce and Cassian to help hire Sky, that is about the most Cassian hears of her. Besides of course, when they need her to send letters to their cohorts and various other peers. Cassian was 28 years old, while Sky was 27.

• Ximena Talis

Cassian was quick to meet Ximena shortly after befriending Jayce. It was almost overwhelming to see how exponentially their bond grew in such a short amount of time. Before Ximena knew it, she had 2 boys to watch after in her home, with the countless amount of time Cassian spent with Jayce following Briar's enrollment in the ranks.

• Marcus

Because of the Ballad's relations to the enforcers, it's no doubt that Marcus knows of Cassian - and vice versa. Cassian first meets Marcus when they were both 22, during his time spent in the Cadet Academy - CAs - (A school specialized in training Piltover's enforcers. Private Cadet Academies provide residual barracks and academic classes aside from their specialized training) and post-graduation as well.

• Grayson

Grayson was the most notable sheriff of Cassian's time, aside from his own father who was a year from retirement when Cassian was born. They spoke every so often should Cassian's family attend an important enforcer assembly or gala. He was a child when he first met Grayson; he always saw her as authoritative and one not to cross.

• The Kirammans
  • Cassandra/Tobias Kiramman

Cassian meets Cassandra and Tobias pretty early into his childhood from the various meetings the Ballads and Kirammans hold at each other's homes. Cassian remembers the brief moment when Cassandra was pregnant, and had his parents commute to their home when discussing legal - enforcer - matters.

• Caitlyn Kiramman

Cassian remembers when Caitlyn was born. He was confused about all the fanfare for the baby however, and looked the other direction when she was mentioned out of lack of interest. He had never had the chance to properly meet her until she was 4 years old, and the Kirammans attended Briar's funeral. As he got older, he never had the time to bother getting to know her personally, besides when the Kirammans announced they'd be funding Jayce's studies. Caitlyn hung around more, and from then on Cassian could safely agree she was a good kid with a good heart.

• Briar Ballad

Briar is Cassian's older brother. They have a 12 year age gap. The two brothers grew up relatively close; Cassian always had Briar as sort of a 3rd adult in his life, while Briar had Cassian to look out for throughout his teens. They only really had each other whenever they were home. By the time Cassian was 10, he idolized Briar a lot, and aspired to become an enforcer just like him. That lasted well throughout the first decade of his life, until one day, shortly after Cassian turned 12, Briar dies during a patrol in the Undercity (Zaun).

• Addimane Ballad

Addimane is Cassian's father. He used to be Piltover's sheriff - one of the longest reigning sheriffs before Grayson came along. After marrying into a family of a long, long line of enforcers, Addimane was adamant on making sure that that line wouldn't die with him, that one of his children would at the very least rank the highest in their battalion, should he greedily hope that they too would one day become sheriff. Once Briar graduated from Cadet school, Addimane focused most of his time on his youngest, Cassian, because what better than one valedictorian, than two?

• Elyse Ballad

Elyse is Cassian's mother. She was never really present in the manor, for she is the headmistress of the most prestigious Cadet Academy in the city - the one which Briar graduated top of his class from, which Cassian is later forced to enroll in. Unlike her husband, who was the first enforcer in his family, she came from a long, long line of enforcers whom date back to the very start of Piltover's foundation. She wants nothing more than her boys to follow the family line, sometimes forgetting their own wants and pursuits.
