• my crazy nan with the most eclectic religious views who did reflexology and raised aloe plants and had giant cacti and ate off of the same plates as her dogs and had weird infatuations with indians and unicorns and elvis presley and touched by an angel and owned a bar and rode horses and dated a CIA agent and had the most dry sense of humour and collected quarters for us and religiously fed the raccoons and the deer in the backyard and always took in any stray animal and made great big ben's soda floats and bought vanilla ice cream in 20 gallon increments and "YOU DON'T SMELL NUTHIN" and yard work and swimming in the pool and cookouts and cats and crazy dogs and riding in the beat up golden van with the red hood and no seats in the back and catching salamanders in the woods and driving fast on the bumpy back road on the way to her house and how i really believed her when she said she was going to beat it.
