- lazy few days at the beach, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would
- it rained on the 4th of July and I didn't mind one bit
- I feel a new sense of happiness and clarity greater than I've ever known
- Deathly Hallows was as wonderful an experience as I could have hoped. Somehow I ended up at the same theater with everyone I cared to see.
- an adorable dress and beautiful shoes for cheap
- a few days of peace while my brother was out of town
- rekindled friendships
- Good, good food:
- potato pasty
- Italian sodas
- pesto pizza
- tabbouleh and falafel
- corn pico de gallo
- saw many people I hadn't seen in ages and had such a wonderful time
- dance parties with glowsticks and friends with excellent taste in music
- relief from the terrible heat through stormy weather
- the many merits of waffle house
- all is not lost, I should think
