  • what tarot card are you? the fool: there is only so fast a car can go before it flips. you would do well to memorize that speed, though whether that is to reach it or avoid it is none of my concern. your life cannot be made only of beginnings; you forget that for every new life there is one you had to smother. adventure beckons, must you rise to meet it? have you spoken to a loved one from a past life recently? I’m sure someone, somewhere misses you.
  • what's the theme of your coming of age film identity: your movie handles the idea of not knowing who you are. it explores the confusion of identity, of the potential of being we all have. the movie might not have a clear answer, you might not come out knowing every single detail about yourself, but you will be better. you find that the real worry was not the fear you do not know yourself, but that others will not love you for who you might be. you might not figure out who you are, but you know you are loved no matter what—and that is all that matters in the end
  • which house lives inside of you? haunted house: you are an incredibly strong and complex individual. you don't always know how to deal with your demons, but sometimes the best course of action is to stop running from them. others may find your personality to be occasionally off-putting, but those with a few ghosts of your own find a kindred spirit in your walls.
  • which cup of tea are you cool, sour, calming: The tea is milky pale and opaque, bright flecks of what looks like lemon zest dotting the surface like sunbeams cutting through the clouds. Even as the cup fills the air with clouds of perfumed steam when you take a sip your lips sting with icy cold. It tastes of lavender and citrus and brings to mind memories of frost - dusted spring when the seasons have just begun to change. For the first time on your long, long journey, you feel at peace.
  • what type of love do you attract comfort: waking up to the sound of singing chickadees perched on your windowsill by your sleeping lover; giggling by their side as you watch the sky, laying on a picnic blanket with small sandwiches and juice boxes near you; slow dancing late at night to no music in the middle of your kitchen floor. you attract comfort. falling in love with you is like going home. it's like breathing in and basking in the familiarity of it all. those who search for you find that they are at their happiest when they finally find you. your beauty is a breath of fresh air, a painting that soothes, a melody that you recognize. your love is so gentle, so kind, so soft to the touch that it eases the hearts of everyone around you. people find themselves relieved even at the sight of your mere smile, and they don't even know why. you bring warmth to this world, my angel. keep shining.
  • what horror movie character are you? the scholar (Documentarian sub-type): You are the Scholar. Your primary role is exposition. At your best, you provide the other characters with a small ray of hope, a possible way out. Mostly though you just weave together the feeble pretext around which the story is built, so everyone else can get on with their fornication, drug use, and murder. Your sub-type is the documentarian. You are what makes reality horror possible, which may be good or bad depending on who you talk to. You are critical because if you don't get everything on tape the way you do, the story won't make sense. But please, when you're doing selfies, blow your nose first.
  • what’s your underlying motif? the coffee: whether it’s your sharp tongue, your tendency to blow hot or cold, or the familiarity of you, you’re the coffee. don’t immediately assume that your undercurrent means you’re bitter, a common misconception because people who like coffee always make it work for them. coffee doesn’t always have to be dark, it can be a warmth that’s comforting, and the first start to a day. you aren’t nearly as tough as you make out to be, but we’ll keep your secret. you’re a constant, won’t ever go out of style. not everyone’s taste, but what is these days? an unknown quote reads “I like drinking coffee alone and reading alone... I realize that even though I like being alone, I don’t fancy being lonely” remember you don’t always need to face things yourself, there’s a reason people suggest “coffee?” when they want to spend time together.
  • which forest creature are you? frog: you enjoy lazy afternoons sleeping on a lilypad, and dislike responsibilities. what others may see as a muddy pond, you see as a blessing. sometimes you are a little weird, but in the best way, like bursting into a little song without warning or gazing away into the distance for hours on end. while you may be carefree, you tend to feel secretly sad about yourself and compare yourself, but the people who know you would all agree that you make their lives a little happier by simply existing. the pond really wouldn't be the same without you. contrary to the fairytales, you don't need to be kissed by a princess or prince to be beautiful - you already are beautiful and lovely in every way, though you would brush that off with disbelief. you tend to wait for life rather than seeking things out yourself, as you might expect all things will be like bumbly flies who will approach on their own.
  • if you were a character, how would the audience perceive you? edgy step on me: it’s You. you’re the edgy character with combat boots that everyone wants to step on them ( depending on what your gender is. ) you probably have a very cool style, and you’re also absolutely gorgeous in a way that average people just ... aren’t. you might be a little bit of an asshole, but that’s ok. you get a pass because you’re extremely attractive. you radiate some sort of energy that i can’t describe. i’m not sure you’re a real person honestly.
  • what type of bender are you? firebender: Firebenders are interesting in that they’re the most personally driven of the elements. Where Earthbenders crave stability and Airbenders wish for freedom, Firebenders are driven by their unique desires, bound by their willingness. It’s why we see Uncle Iroh, who’s kind and thoughtful, easily leave the tea shop he was originally working at—where they treated him well—without a second thought. Another bender may have been humble, may have favored loyalty, but firebenders most likely wouldn’t. Inside every Firebender exists a sun that burns brightly and fiercely. A Firebender on a mission is someone you do not want to get in the way of as they are the pinnacle of an unstoppable force. This isn’t to say Firebenders don’t have morals or that they’re always willing to bypass others for anything. No, actually Firebenders are very efficient and selective. They know what’s worth their energy, which fights are worth the trouble. [...] Firebenders don’t follow the stereotype of being impulsive. The best Firebenders carefully pick the places they choose to spend their energy on—especially when faced with conflict. [...] Don’t get me wrong. There are impulsive Firebenders. These Firebenders are often struggling emotionally. [...] Most of the time, these types of benders are repressing something emotionally that transforms itself into volatile anger or just general uncontrollable emotion. That selectiveness found in the best Firebenders is no longer available and the people around them will likely feel the repercussions. They don’t care who sees, they are at their worst and they can no longer hide it. Calculated control is thus an absolute necessity otherwise your fire may turn destructive rather than productive. Once again, Firebending is unique in how personal it is to the given bender, but as Firebenders are driven by their desires, they’re also bonded by their intuition. Firebenders feel it in their gut when something is wrong and they use that as a guide when faced with conflict. Even if everyone around them thinks differently, a Firebender won’t succumb to the pressure without the sense of wrongness eating away at them. This is what I call a Doused Firebender. This is a Firebender who compromises what they really want in favour of appeasing other people or being convinced that what they truly want isn’t right. [...] It’s quite possible for a Doused Firebender to look like an Earthbender. Earthbenders are quite likely to sacrifice personal wants in favour of a greater sense of order and stability. For Earthbenders, this will never or rarely ever feel wrong to do, but with Firebenders, that sense of wrongness will grow and build inside them until they figure out what they really want or risk imploding or putting their own fire out altogether. [...] Fire takes many forms. It can be soothing like a campfire, warming you on even the coldest of nights. It can be a small flame burning on a candlewick, lighting your way. And yes, it can be a destructive wildfire, burning through a forest. Fire is, in the end, dependent on the bender and how they choose to use their energy. I can only caution control and self-assessment for those of you struggling to figure out what you really want and who you are.
