I will crawl, there's things that are worth giving up I know; but I won't let this get me, I will fight. You live the life you're given with the storms outside. Somedays all I do is watch the sky.

  • losing entire documents on word.
    • so i save my progress like every other second.
  • having toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe.
    • so embarrassing and tacky.
  • having my dress tucked into my underwear.
    • i've never actually had this happen, but i have seen it several times at work. which is pretty much enough to make me quadruple check myself before leaving the stall.
  • having something attached to my back.
    • not in the sense that someone stuck a "kick me" sign on my back.
    • but, like, maybe there was a spider in my dresser and he died by being crushed by the weight of all my junk and now his guts are all over my shirt. so i have to quadruple check myself before leaving my room.
    • also, i've never had this happen before. but i am still very worried about it.
  • not waking up to my alarm.
    • i always have my ihome up as loud as it will go, and i set all 3 of my alarms on my phone.
    • and sometimes i still manage to sleep through them.
  • having someone in my house.
    • there are two parts to this:
    • first:
      • sometimes i talk to myself. or sing. so i have to check out all the rooms in my house to make sure no one is home so they don't think i'm crazy.
    • second:
      • if i get home really late, i'm pretty sure there is an axe murderer slash child rapist slash serial killer lurking in my basement. right by my room. he's living off all the food i forget about in the basement fridge.
  • i'm also pretty sure that there is someone lurking in the big tree by my driveway. slash perhaps he moves around and hides in one of the trucks, or in the big tree in the front yard. but there is someone there, always, at night, and he is out to get me.
    • these past two paranoias developed in the summer of 2007. go figure.
  • because evan always texts me that he's home safe, i freak out and send him about 2 million texts if he takes longer than 5 minutes.
  • ripping my toe nails off
    • when i was little my mom told me not to stand behind a door, but i did. and the door opened. and away went my toe nails. so now i'm paranoid that they'll get ripped off again.
  • being shot. i'm always afraid i'll get shot.

user picture Erin: I save docs every thought I get down. For serious. Like. I will example. On this. The boy who went to the store SAVE had a really big problem. SAVE The prob SAVE lem was SAVE. It's BAD. I'm always doing it. I'm glad you do too! AND I set probably about 8 alarms every morning and let me tell you they are LOUD and I have to sleep with my phone on my bed because of the vibrate but then I am always paranoid I will get tangled up in the cord. Ha. dec 14 2009
user picture larissa: me toooooo!!! the worst is when you get done submitting the paper and go to close it and word is like "do you want to save the changes to your document?" WHAAAAAT?! fml. but i save like 16 times a sentence. i spend more time saving that writing probably.
user picture Erin: hahahaha. thats probably true more time actually saving then writing.
user picture Britta Boo: Ok really embarrassing story that I don't know why I'm putting on the internet, but you can't tell anyone. One time I work I tucked my shirt into my underwear so it was sticking out really high (accidentally, of course) I walked around for over a half-hour serving tables before Colleen finally told me. And they were like bright pink to so I know everybody saw. Yeah, way embarrassing. dec 15 2009
user picture larissa: how embarrassing!!! i'm sorry =[ at least someone told you, but i can't believe people let you walk around like that for a half hour. if it makes you feel any better, like a month after i started i was sitting in zin talking to people and vicki walked around the corner (200's corner) and yells really loud "larissa tuck in your underwear!!!" apparently they had been hanging out. it was like 10:00 at night and there was no one there besides evan and zach but it was still so embarassing. and vicki of all people. i mean it could have been one of the guys....sick. dec 16 2009
user picture Jamie: Larissa.....we are twins. Sometimes I think that somebody is snipering me. Then I get really scared. Like, sometimes I will literally freak myself out and feel like I have a red dot on my head and somebody is going to shoot me...for no apparent reason. It mostly happens when I'm laying in bed at night, when I'm driving in my car, or walking down the street. jan 11 2010
user picture larissa: I know we are. I love it. I always feel like someone is going to pull a gun on me. Like this crazy Russian guy I served the other night who thought soup prices were different and was like on a head set speaking Russian at the same time he was yelling at me. I was scared for my life. I'm also scared for my life when I go in public places. And school. Apparently schools aren't safe places.
