This BNG Game is going to be a little different. It will follow a historical storyline so you will only roll the dice the first time around, and you will remember your number and that will correspond to the rest of the rounds for you and be the same each time. Make sense? I hope! =)

  • YOU!: ROLL ME (After you figure out your name, describe your personaility and looks!)
    • The year is 1969. You are a flower child who grew up in an overbearing home. Your first name is classic and simple, a filler. Your middle is a "letter name" (eg. Kay, Emm)and your last name is in the top 20 of this
    • The year is 1930, and America has fallen upon hard times. Your family especially so. You are the youngest of 13 children and live on a farm, but you dream of the big city. You leave home for Los Angeles, California to become a star in the golden age of film! Taking a cue from your idol Jean Harlow, your stage name consists of your middle name as your first and your mothers maiden name as your last. [Your middle name is an uncommon flower and your mothers maiden name is your actual mothers maiden name. Your first name was a classic "farmers daughter" name. But you'll never tell it.]
    • The year is 117 A.D. and life sure is nice being a rich person in the height of the Roman Empire. You are the only daughter of a Senator there!. Your fathers name is male name on this list and your name is a feminized verison of it. (eg. Julius -> Julia), while your middle is a female name on the same list.
    • It's 1942 Britain and your country is at war. All your brothers went off to fight and you are soooooo not the type of the girl to sit and wait for them to save the country themselves. You enlist in the Womens Auxiliary Air Force, the newly formed Female brance of the Royal Air Force, where you help assemble the planes, work air traffic control and plan the flight paths. Your name matches your rebellious spirit, your first name meaning "brave", "warrior", "strength" or something to that matter. Your middle is a food and your last name comes from right here
    • The year is 1505 and you're in Verona, Italy, and it's the middle of the Italian Renassiance. You are a poor street worker whose looks captivate an artist (think Da Vinci) going for a walk down the city. You inspire his magnum opus or his "masterpiece" (think the Mona Lisa). Although you never know it is painted, you inspire the greatest painting the world will know. Your first name comes from this list, and your middle name means "beautiful" or "beauty". Your last name is simple, but very Italian.
    • The year is 1904 and you have just immigrated through Ellis Island to America from the country of your choice. Your first and last name reflect your home country and your middle name comes from this list.
  • [Same number!!] (After you figure out your sweetheart's name and learn about your wedding, describe their looks, personaility and your wedding more!)
    • You meet the love of your life at Woodstock. You caught eyes during the Creedence Clearwater Revival set and since then, it's history. They have a strong, noble name from this list and their middle name is from the top 5 of the 1950 SSA list (Scroll down and type 1950 in the space there). His last name is the last name of your celebrity crush (perhaps they look alike too?) You two are not ones to have a grand wedding like your squares of parents so you wed at the courthouse, wearing a knee length white dress with flowers in your hair (of course(.
    • Life in LA is great- although you try not to be taken advantage of by movie producers. You go through several agents before you find the perfect one for yourself. He finds perfect roles for you and although you find yourself attracted to him, you aren't going to succumb to the whole "sleeping with who can get you ahead" sterotype. The love of a lifetime for you is not Clark Gable or James Dean, no he is the awkward lighting guy you meet at a modeling shoot. His first name comes from here and his middle is a place. His last name is long and grand. The two of you keep your romance a secret and the world is shocked when you two start planning a beautiful, extravagant wedding.
    • The Roman Empire is sweet, at least for you. Especially when you learn you are to marry the guy next in line to be the Emperor! He is boring and old but WOAH look at all the jewels you get!!! You meet your love of a lifetime: his younger brother. After your husband is Emperor for 2 years, he gets stabbed somewhere. You don't really care, seeing as you are more in love with his bro then ever! You mourn for the customary period of time and then marry your beloved. His first name is from here and his middle is too. Both of you being rich as frick throw a wonderful party of a wedding, full of gold and of fun.
    • A strong, confident woman like you is not about to settle for that boy who asked you to the box social, you need a guy who can keep up with your adventrous spirit! He comes in once the war ends and people are celebrating in the streets! He grabs you and kisses you, although you've never met him (although unlike that other time no ones around to snap a pic]! A stunt like that immediatley catches your eye and enter the love of your life. His first name is foreign but handsome, with a short middle, and classic surname. You get married 2 years later, in a happy outside affair with all your friends and family.
    • You live in a tenement with your brothers and sisters of the street, not thinking about the encounter you had with a guy in a fancy suit years ago, when the love of a lifetime comes in for you! He is French, and while you would generally turn your nose up at a foreign guy anyway, there is just something about him you can't shake off! His first name is the most French name you could ever imagine, while his middle is from here (second column). His last name is long and foreign and you use a hypen between the both of yours once you marry in a small, but family oriented affair, since you are an independent woman.
    • Although you hoped life in America would be so much different then in the Olde Country, you find yourself doing menial labor. Working in a shirt factory sucks to many, but at least you like sewing. Your dream though, is to get out of this stuffy room and open your own tailoring business. Since the pay isn't so good you also take a job working the counter at a cigar shop to get extra cash. There you meet him: he is older, about 35-40 and a widower with grown kids. He takes a liking to you and you do as well. The love of your life's first and middle names come from here and his last name is from the first section of this list. You marry in a grand, beautiful church with all the happening people, and of course the friends and family you have met in your first years in America. And guess what- he has enough money to support you and your family, so you quit both of your jobs and you are able to open your shop!
  • (Do you still remember your number?) After you figure out your child's name, describe their looks and personaility!
    • Always the naturalist, you have a completley natural birth. No meds, no doctor, no nothing. You rely on Mother Earth to take care of you. And that She does! Out pops a sweet baby boy. All the Richards and Johns are ruining the world, in your opinon, and your baby will be innocent and kind to all. His first name is nature name, and his middle is the actual name of an animal, not one with an animal meaning. You meet up with your friend, a Native American spirtual leader, and get him to bless the baby boy with a traditional Native American name (eg. Crying Lion).
    • After your closest friend and confidante, a fellow movie Queen overdoses, you grow scared of the industry just as you are expecting your first child. You stay in LA but decide to take a hiatus from films so you may spend time with and give lots of attention to your baby. Out comes a sweet and beautiful daughter. You worry what a life of fame will do to this innocent child, so you and your husband elect to move to a small town in Northern California, where she will be sheilded from paparazzi but you and your husband will be able to work and remain close to friends. Her name is short and beautiful, her first name honoring your friend, who is coincedentally on this list (look in the caption), and since she's so tiny and cute, her middle means something sweet, like "love" or "music".
    • You and your new husband are expecting your first child. With the two of you as parents, the baby already has enough connections to become a key political leader of Rome. You have a boy, and his name honors his father. His middle name means "fourtunate" or "grateful".
    • After your wedding, the two of you move to wonderful home in the middle of London, always wanting to be a part of the action. Happily, you settle into a homey apartment. It's perfect, except it is right next to an orphanage, many of the children there are from German Concentration Camps or the Pacific. You two, only knowing a small bit of the horrors of war, decide to take in a 6 year old girl and her 2 year old brother, both from Poland. He was born just before the camp was liberated and she grew up in it, and neither has names (she does not remember hers and there is no record). You honor their heritage with their first names (they can also be Hebrew or nicknames of Polish names), and give them middle names that have beautiful meanings.
    • Happy to have a good home to raise a family in, the two of you get right to it. First, you have a pair of twin boys, Baby A's first name is French and middle Italian, and Baby B's first name is Italian and middle French, to honor the both of you.
    • You love life in America, but still harbor many memories from your childhood home. Although life was hard there are you grew up with not a lot, you remember fond times of it and wonder if your baby will have the same childhood innocence you did, even though they will grow up with money in a big home. You hope he or she will want to learn where you were from and about it, so you decide your baby boy's first name will be a name that relates to your birthplace, and his middle is filler.
  • (Almost done! Whats your number again?) Describe your other kids appearance and personaility afterwards, too!
    • Flash forward 3 years. Your son walks and talks and you and your husband discuss having another child. Not wanting to repopulate the already overpopulated Earth, you all agree for one more baby. A little girl is born, and the naming rules for your son still apply (plus the NA spirtiual name of course), but feminized.
    • Flash forward 5 years, your daughter is beginning school and you make a suprise appearence in the most anticipated movie of the year. After that experience, you realize you are older now and more mature and know the ropes of stardom, unlike you did years ago. You decide to go back to acting, but want to have another child first. You do, 2 of them. Twin boys are born to you and their first names are from this list and their middles are after your family members.
    • Flash forward 4 years. You have moved into a new home in the center of Rome, happily raising your family. You have another baby, this time a girl. Her name is the feminized verison of her dads name, per Roman Tradition, while her middle name you have lots of fun with: a Non-Flower plant name.
    • Flash forward 2 years. You are raising your two adopted children and they are coming along nicely, so good you decide to have a baby of your own!! A little brother is born, for both of your older kids to dote on. His name is like yours: his first name meaning "brave", "strength", "warrior", etc but his middle is from here
    • Flash forward 1 year: You have a little girl next, rounding out your happy family. Her name is going to be like you, memorable. You break tradition and her name starts and ends with the same letter, while her middle name is short and sweet.
    • Flash forward 8 years: you have tried and tried but the busy ways of industrial soceity life have led to many sad endings for your hopes. But then finally, you have another child! You are so happy your son will have a little sibling to play with and dote upon. But wait, the Nurse tells you, theres another! You deliver twins! A boy and a girl, both of their first names come from this list right hurr, while their middles remind you of something a Queen or King would be named- grand and long.
  • (Last Round! Don't forget your numbers just yet!)
    • You decide to adopt a pair of rabbits who were orphaned by hunters. You of course rescued them from a wooded area in which you were protesting against the man with your children. These brothers are handfuls so you name them after Natural Diasters (eg. Tornado).
    • After taking care of your kids and rounding out your career, you and your family move to a farm in the Oregan countryside. Even with your beginnings, you aren't up for farm work, and it's not much a farm anyway, it's like a cottage with a pretty garden. You however, buy a horse and like many horses (I like to include this way of naming animals in every BNG because its sooooo fun to do), his name is a phrase. Open the nearest book to page 72 and name him the first full sentence on the page.
    • You decide the next best thing for your nice home, is a partidge/quail bird that you name the prettiest name you have ever heard. Don't think about the time period.
    • A sweet hound dog mix is the dog you and your kids decide to adopt. He's a mutt and he's scrappy but you can't get over that face. Name him from here, since like an outlaw- he always seems to get into trouble.
    • There are lots of animals that roam the streets of Italy, but a little ferret catches your eye. What a frisky little boy he is. You bring him inside and give him a name that's just initals (eg. A.D. the ferret).
    • Your kids are off to school and it's quiet in your shop during the day. Looking for some fun and comedic relief, you buy a parakeet that you can teach to help the customers (What can I help you with today? Could I suggest blue for your skin tone?). His name is a nickname name (of a longer, classic name) that ends in a -y or -ie.
