            - dawson-pitamakan has beautiful skywalks, can be done as a 1, 2, or 3 day trip, 20 miles total 
- gunsight-macdonald requires some trickery with the park shuttle, might be essentially a 3-day trip, 20 miles total

                  - triple divide peak, 14 miles....  only place in the world where two continental divides meet!  from cut bank creek trailhead 
- grinnell glacier, 10 miles ... also find out what this "angel wing" is

                  - many glacier to ptarmigan tunnel then iceberg lake, 15 miles 
- highline trail to granite park to the loop, 11 miles...  return on park shuttle 
- cracker lake, 12 miles...  supposed to be nicest lake, but trail has lots of horse footprints and poop 
- logan pass to many glacier, take shuttle in morning then hike 15 miles (or as a two-day backpack) 
 
 
 
- spend one day just like sitting by a lake and not hiking and feeling great being in nature and resting your legs 
- some restaurant that has like elk sausage lasagna or gigantic steaks or huckleberry pie or some similar thing that makes you feel like you're in montana or some shit 
- polebridge -- hippie-ish community, cabins, norther lights restaurant (megan recommends) 
 
- drive to canada?

                - maybe try to find that restaurant ian likes with fresh elk sausage fennel lasagna because I have heard that story 32 times and it only sounds more delicious with each retelling

- still get to see some of america
