• "The view from the Study Center is like out of a movie. You can see the huge, streaky mountains, crystal sea & tiny square houses from its doorstep. Every time I look at the mountains I am astounded."

• "saw the Palaikastro kouros, many pithoi, parallels to my Daedalic figurines, and a Roman head of Hadrian (with whom I selfied)"
• "walked in a Minoan home, crouched through the doorway, and was grateful I wasn't claustrophobic"
