reasons why i'm upset

• I was really excited about doing a reconstruction— it seems huge!
• I thought this would be a big contribution to the field
• It was so clear-cut what I needed to do, and how I would write about it
• It would develop my digital skills
• I don't have to apply to the LCDSS

reasons why I'm relieved

• I don't have to make some really difficult decisions that I've been worried about
• I am now making another contact, who seems excited to talk with me. Maybe we could collaborate?
• I don't have to deal with the Cupbearer xD
• It won't be a big deal that I couldn't study the fragments in person
• I don't have to apply to the LCDSS
