- always deduct points for citing issues even if they are unexplained/minor at the time. otherwise students don't bother to read the feedback. also send an email, now that i'm thinking about it.
- not policing devices during class time is way easier than focusing on it
- check with it even over little things like emails that weren't received. do it the first time around.
- don't accept images that aren't within the document. do an all or nothing deal and make them figure it out.
- 0s for ai that isn't cited. give them a chance to redo it and resubmit for up to 90%.
- no attendance emails— what a waste of time.
- "i know this is disappointing," is a great phrase.
- "out of fairness to others," is also a great phrase.
