- after sitting in the sun all day, i had no desire to wear anything remotely "nice" — even those pink abercrombie shorts

- the only exceptions are the ADAY clothes. they made me feel like a million bucks but sacrificed no comfort
- no regular body sunscreen on my face. none. not even sunbum
- probably good to give good genes, vitamin c, and retinol a break when at the beach considering how sensitive my skin is to the sun
- 1-2 books is fine for the beach, but certainly not more. very little reading time
- no more albion bathing suits; the top was way too big (band size big, cup size ok) and i didn't bother wearing the bottoms because of the cut
- andie bathing suit made me feel 100% but it was slightly too big; maybe size down (felt good when dry but big when wet)
- one pair of nice shoes is more than enough. i lived in flip flops
- a hat is a must, my baseball cap worked nicely
