- writing "pls" instead of "please"
- "if you say pls because it's shorter than please, I will say no because it's shorter than yes"
- using leet speak in emails/texts/IM (especially past the age of 12)
- using more than one question/exclamation mark at the end of your sentences
- two exclamation marks to denote irony/sarcasm/excessive glee is the only exception

- being born in the West and speaking obsessively about hiragana/katagana/kanji/anime/manga in a company of laymen
