- I was born.
- It's rather an OBVIOUS event, but enormous nonetheless. Nobody asked me if wanted to try living on planet Earth or if I'd rather not. Adventure was thrust upon me, whether I wanted it or not.
- I quit school at age 6.
- And by that, I mean quit going to school and was subsequently homeschooled. My parents had always read to me and encouraged me to love books and stories, but none of that literary goodness was incorporated into my educational career until second grade, when my parents fired my school.:)
- I went to Nicaragua at age 18.
- I dated an asshole at age 18-19.
- And I learned that I'm worth a lot more than he thought I was. I have learned confidence and acquired a healthier self-esteem. I like myself. I have, by my own strong will, reversed nearly two decades of religious indoctrination that taught me to suppress myself because I was not as awesome as a man. Ha!
- I made the best friend of my life, and I lost him.
- I was assimilated by the Yadas, who helped me work out a bunch of my own gender and orientation issues.
- My best friend came back, and cue hell on earth.
