  • Five areas of concentration are offered for students pursuing the professional studio bachelor of fine arts: drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. B.F.A. candidates are required to have their work evaluated by faculty and peers.

  • Students wishing to teach art in grades K–12 should complete the B.F.A. program and the undergraduate sequence of education classes and school placements. Candidates complete the graduate-level program in the College of Education and Human Services to become eligible for licensure.
