• Spain v. Switzerland 0:1 Depressed. It was their first match.
• Spain v. Honduras 2:0 Illa Illa Illa Villa Maravilla!
• Brazil v. Ivory Coast 3:1 (partly) Kaka not guilty!
• Spain v. Chile 2:1 Spain ended up being Group H winners. Suck on that, Switzerland & Benaglio.
• Brazil v. Portugal 0:0 What gives, Brazil? (I was rooting for Portugal, though.)
• Germany v. England 4:1 (partly) I was mesmerized with Die Mannschaft. But not enough to stick around just yet.
• Spain v. Portugal 1:0 Almost didn't happen. David Villa pwned Eduardo!
• Brazil v. Netherlands 1:2 What the hell happened here? Felipe Melo chose to mess up at THIS time of the World Cup? Really, now?
• Germany v. Argentina 4:0 I rooted for Argentina, then ended up falling deeply in love with Germany. I thought they were getting the 2010 World Cup.
• Spain v. Paraguay 1:0 David Villa's goal almost didn't happen. I'm losing hope for La Roja.
• Spain v. Germany 1:0 La Roja stepped it up. Die Mannschaft lacked Muller and energy. Beautiful beautiful almost-attacks for La Roja. Even Torres almost got his comeback goal. Only, it was Carles Puyol who scored the winning goal. People say that's lucky, but they should see how the Germans have been defending all night. Also, San Iker is nothing short of amazing. I have no words.
• Germany v. Uruguay Let me say that the latter gave up a pretty good fight against my World Cup 2010 should-be champions. In the end, Germany prevailed as South Africa 2010 3rd placers despite their squad crisis (Klose, topscorer, is injured while several caught the flu).
• Spain v. Netherlands It was a long and excruciating fight. By the time extra time was happening, I didn't want to proceed anymore. I was done. Good thing Iniesta scored that goal and sealed history. I'm proud of La Furia Roja. However, the World Cup ended pretty quickly for me even before they finished this match.
