Basically the ones I find interesting
- First Generation: I think the cast of the season 1 and 2 are more unpredictable compared to the latter generation. Their group is also pretty tight-knitted, not much conflicts among characters. I think that makes them more "mature" compared to the second generation. They do their party habits such as drugs, and alcohol, etc etc as if they've been doing it for years and they're actually quite bored with them already.
- Cassie Ainsworth She's troubled, fucked up, and doesn't know what she's doing. Suicide attempts! Anorexia! Bulimia! Drug addiction! Promiscuous sex involving girls and guys alike! But despite all these, she's fun, carefree, and sweet. The most messed up girl in the whole series, I think. She's very unpredictable, which is what has drawn many people.
- Tony Stonem I like that in the first season, he doesn't take anything seriously. For one, he said that all he ever needs in life is a girlfriend to fuck and a group of friends to play with. He's my type of guy.
- Second Generation: Wilder and messier basically because this is Skins: drugs, sex, vandalism, alcohol. The new cast still gives out that teenager-y vibe because of their nasty bitching and the insults always thrown out of the window (which is fun, I admit). However, they are more predictable since, you know, they're pretty much like any other angsty teens on TV. And they do their "party people" habits very intensely, like they're at the peak of their party phase... which means they're still youngsters. As compared to the First Generation (see above).
- Naomi Campbell Naomi is an idealist. Passionate, political and principled, she's the only one who still believes in anything. It is currently unknown what Naomi's sexual orientation is; after firmly maintaining she is straight, she later confesses to Effy and Emily, on separate occasions, that she is unsure. She sleeps with and then begins a relationship with Emily, falling in love with her and eventually learning to accept her sexuality. However, it still unknown whether Naomi is gay or bisexual.
- Effy Stonem She is the most experienced of the group. Hello, didn't she pick up some `shrooms from the woods? Plus, I always believe she has been "trained" by Tony. :'D Femme fatale of series 3 (NOT ANYMORE. SHE'S ANNOYING)
- Emily Fitch Emily enjoys being a twin, but is very much the quiet one. She is often bullied and taken advantage of by her dominant sister Katie. She began the series as a closeted lesbian, but eventually came out to her friends and loved ones, including Naomi, who she is in love with. After a while they begin a relationship with one another. She has developed a close friendship with JJ, having sex with him as a "one-time charity event." She and Katie have their own cant-style language, which they spoke to each other when they were children. At the beginning of the series, Emily is shown as being controlled and dominated by her sister Katie, but as the show progresses, she begins to come out of her shell and strives for individuality.
- Cook He's an asshole, but at least he's real
- Katie Fitch She's a bitch, and I'm starting to love it.
