• Love, etc. - It's an interesting snapshot and narrative of how different people's stories can be and how the film makers crafted the film so that future events could be foreshadowed. A really interesting take on love today.
  • Gremlins - Be responsible and careful when caring for Mogwai!
  • Duke of Burgundy - Love is love.
  • Garden State - Rewatched, seems teenage in outbursts and oddities when I watch it now, but it's still enjoyable
  • Transamerica - Another rewatch, some elements of the story are too convenient to the plot line to make it believable however it's another story where the characters are human enough for you to care about the content and the issues it addresses or presents to the audience
  • The Lunchbox - I watched this in parts because there were some parts of the movie that were dull, however what I took away from this besides the warmth that one gets from a homemade meal is the setting of boundaries and knowing when something is wrong for you even if it's what you feel you could want in the short term
  • Zootopia - Judy and Nick <3 Persisting despite the odds. Not breaking stereotypes for the sake of it, but rising above stereotypes.
  • Kungfu Panda 3 - Find who you are. Be who you are. Help others find who they are. Conquer your qi.
  • My Friend Pinto - Pinto helps others inadvertently by being himself. What does it mean to be a good friend? Pinto manages to be happy even though he has a great sadness.
  • Paper planes - Dylan and Kimi. Dylan's father. Finding the beauty in life and sharing it with those around you.
