A list of miscellaneous things I remember.

• I've won one official contest or competition in my entire life. I won two pairs of in-line skates when I was about seven. To enter, I colored a line art picture with colored pencils. Then I left it on the table and accidentally spilled water on it. When it had dried, it looked like watercolor painting. I sent it in and forgot about it. I won. It was strange.
• My third grade teacher had to stop giving spelling bees. One of two students always won and she decided that it wasn't fair for the other students. Those were the last spelling bees in which I participated. I was one of the two, which is odd because I'm not particularly talented in spelling anymore.
