- The siding of the house is an ugly mustard color that everyone dislikes, but not enough to pay for new siding.
- When I was young, my mother held her hand around the level of her shoulder and said, "We own this house down to here."
- There is a room in the basement called "the spider room" that has had its door painted shut for many years.
- That door is filled with little holes where a previous owner's son used it for target practice with his gun. The holes are covered in paint now, but still visible.
- The basement used to have a bathroom without walls around it. It has since been turned into a nice bathroom with walls.
