  • above everyone, respect you. love your body in spite of its perceived imperfections--you should always, always feel most at home within your own skin.

    • be mindful of your manners. never allow a hot head to allow you to speak harmfully to another human being; maintain a calm tone in disagreements.
    • welcome many different types of people into your circle of family and friends.
  • be wary of what you may upload to and download from the internet: this is your unerasable digital fingerprint.
  • celebrate your individuality. never be ashamed of the person you are, nor ever be afraid to work toward making yourself a better person.
    • observe personal holidays for your life's most important milestones. proudly share your accomplishments with your friends and family.
  • develop a good sense of what is right, and of what is wrong. many times, you will face situations which will test your moral fiber.
  • do not drink--without a designated driver and a trusted, sober friend.
  • donate, recycle, and volunteer. be charitable and philanthropic any time the opportunity presents itself.
  • keep an open mind, only if but slightly closer than an open heart.
    • always thirst for knowledge. be inspired to learn and to teach.
  • never say something about someone if you haven't the courage to repeat it to them in a face-to-face confrontation.
    • learn to defend onself emotionally, mentally, and physically.
  • read everything you can get your hands on, and never skip past a word that seems too difficult--learn it, and give it another whirl.
