- the social media aspect just stopped being appealing to me. I don't hate it, but there was just so much noise. eventually, I settled for a tracker without any bit of it as my main hub for reading.

- last.fm
- switched to stats.fm cos last.fm won't let me scrobble in real-time from apple music, and syncing up every night is too time-consuming (it’s just one click each time, but hey i'm a goldfish—what can i do?)
- letterboxd
- I don't hate the app, I'm not just attached to it I guess. the reviews being separated from diary logs (or notes) was an easy win for me to migrate to millimetre. (being able to change my film posters... for free... really is one big factor too)

- trakt.tv
- was a user of trakt.tv (for nearly a decade, actually) but switched to serializd last year—after months of dreading it cos I have an amazing deal of separation anxiety. been enjoying the community and its interface. the creator is genuinely amazing. never looked back. I also like that my tracking apps for movies and tv series are in separate places. I used to prefer having them in the same place, but now that just annoys me.
