• people go homeless when there are vacant houses
• people work for wages that don't allow them to survive
• basic goods and services are ridiculously expensive
• it traps people in a cycle of debt and exploitation
• imperialist wars abroad, neo-colonisation and the exploitation of third world countries cause unbelievable suffering
• it destroys the environment and depletes resources
• white supremacy, and the use of police terrorism to maintain it
• it perpetuates racial, gender and class inequality
