  • Helena Ravenclaw definitely walks around Harry. UM HELLO SHE'S A GHOST. I mean, I know it would have been really difficult to put her on a skateboard, but honestly, when you can see a ghost's weight shifting as they WALK around someone, the illusion is gone. I'm also not thrilled that Harry knew everything about Helena Ravenclaw, somehow, when in the book it's a big reveal and there's a whole story and the Bloody Baron gets explained.
  • I don't like how they cut out so much of the Prince's Tale. It made it look like Lily and Snape only interacted when they were eleven, even though they were close friends until they were fifteen.
  • Snape clutching Lily's body at Godric's Hollow while Harry is sitting in his crib in the background: SUPER CREEPY. I appreciate the sentiment, and I was less creeped out by it the second time, but still. Not to mention that the house was destroyed when Voldemort's curse backfired... and that Hagrid and Sirius showed up really soon afterward.
  • I really, really wish that the whole conversation between Harry and Voldemort had happened right before Voldemort dies. I would have loved to see Voldemort finding out that Snape was Dumbeldore's all along, and that the Elder Wand isn't really his.
  • Voldemort dissolving into lots of flakes of skin? Super creepy. Last time I checked, Avada Kedavra doesn't do that.
  • Breaking into Gringotts took a lot more planning than the movie implied. I could have let this slide, but when Harry says something after the Battle of Hogwarts about disarming Draco the other night... I mean, come on.
  • This may have been in the book, but why did Hermione freak out when they asked her for Bellatrix's wand at Gringotts? HELLO, YOU GUYS HAVE HER WAND. THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE.
  • I wish Harry had fixed his broken wand with the Elder Wand instead of just snapping it and throwing it off a cliff.
  • They never really explained anything about the Deathly Hallows. We never got anything about how Dumbledore wanted to unite them, etc.
  • Speaking of Dumbledore... WHY THE FUCK DID HARRY TELL ABERFORTH THAT THEY WERE HUNTING HORCRUXES? Wasn't it like a REALLY BIG POINT that Harry didn't tell anyone but Ron and Hermione?
  • I really wish they had explained the Dumbledore back story instead of just briefly mentioning Ariana. Grindelwald is mentioned... what, twice?
  • The deaths (Fred, Remus, Tonks) were only just touched on. I wish we had gotten to see more than just Fred lying dead on a stretcher. Because A LOT OF PEOPLE DIED at the Battle of Hogwarts but it was almost entirely glossed over. But of course there were plenty of shots of the destruction of Hogwarts.
