Hopefully wherever I end up going will meet all of these. Probably not.
- I'd like to go to school in a city. After living in New Hampshire for most of my life, I'd like a change of pace. Or if it's not in a city, it has to have a really pretty and green campus.
- The bookstore must be up to par. I read. A lot. If the bookstore isn't big and pretty and up to my standards, I'm not going to be happy.
- Some place that has club field hockey would be awesome. I really love field hockey, but I'm not nearly good enough to play at the intercollegiate level, and I don't want to give up the sport entirely. It'd be really cool to have some people to play pick-up games with.
- I don't want to go farther west than Chicago or farther south than D.C.
- A strong liberal arts program is a must.
- The course requirements have to allow me to dabble in all sorts of different subjects.
- I need a study abroad program. I think this is probably the one thing that I'm not willing to give on. I want to go abroad and find out what else is out there. (Because, frankly, I'm getting a little bored with America. Although the election of Obama helped a lot.)
- After being at Derryfield for so long, it might be nice to go to a medium-sized or large school.
