original main plot of cookie run: ovenbreak— a witch composed a batch of cookies with the intention of baking and eating them; they do not want to be eaten, so they "break out of the oven", thus "ovenbreak"; some things in here include points from kingdom but i don't play kingdom so it's not much

  • captain ice cookies's dialogue "the sea is my home and it shall be my final resting place" confirms that cookies have a state of life and death, and canon has shown cookies to be various ages (children, elderly, and in between), so what is the natural death of a cookie? what is the biological process of death for a cookie? what is the ageing process of a cookie? what is the average lifespan of a cookie? what is the most common cause of death for cookies? what are the cultural customs related to death for cookies? etc.
  • dr. bones cookie's skill using an AED that has an x-ray effect confirmed cookies have skeletons, and the event of its release confirmed that cookies have several metrics of health and can be in a state of sickness, creating several questions:
    • are cookies able to get degenerative diseases or cancer given that the mechanics of absorbing nutrients inherently affects cellular reproduction and maintenance? do cookies have cells? if they don't, what is the function of consuming nutrients for cookies? how are nutrients processed and by what?
    • cookies are said during that event to eat jellies as their predominant source of nutrients, but multiple cookies also confirm that cookies eat regular things like pizza and vegetables, so what is the optimal diet for cookies? how does the metabolic process work for cookies? what is considered a state of malnutrition for cookies? if cookies eat and hydrate and have health, how does cookie digestion & elimination work? out of what cookies consume, what nutrients are retained by cookie bodies and what are discarded? can cookies have food allergies? etc.
      • popcorn cookie runs drinking out of a cinema soda cup, how do cookies hydrate without getting soggy internally? if cookies have organs, what are their physical properties? etc.
    • given that there are cookie doctors and cookie health metrics, what is a state of sickness for cookies? are cookies affected by both bacteria and viruses, and what properties would bacteria and viruses have that would affect cookies specifically? do cookies have access to antibiotics? what would an antibiotic meant to retain cookie health be composed of? how do cookies heal from sickness or injury? what self-recovery properties do cookie bodies have internally or externally? do they have immune systems? what is it beneficial for a cookie body to be immune to? do cookies have vaccinations? etc.
  • given the entire plot of sugarteara, why are some cookies able to exist and thrive underwater but gingerbrave and the main crew consider water very dangerous because it can make them soggy and potentially dissolve? what biological features do the aquatic cookies have that differentiate them from terrestrial cookies? was this an evolutionary process that's always been or is there some other fundamental difference in ingredients? etc.
  • given the existence of timekeeper cookie and the entire plot of TBD showing time to be linear for cookies the same way it is for humans, what are the mechanics of time travel in the cookieverse and how did the cookies achieve it? how are timekeeper cookie and croissant cookie able to exist in the same timeline without it dividing by zero when every other interference with a timeline causes complete disaster? etc.
  • how did cookies come to create biotechnology once out of the oven? the existence of cyborg cookie and ion cookie robot implies one can be a semi- or completely artificial cookie, so what are the physical properties of an artificial cookie that differentiate them from organic cookies? what makes a cookie specifically a cookie and not something else? what biological aspects of cookies enable their bodies to connect with and utilize cybernetics? etc.
  • how is it that some cookies either have parents, siblings, or children, or are the parents, siblings, or children themselves? does the witch create additional cookies that additionally have to escape from the oven on their own every time a new cookie is introduced into the game, or were family members always in existence from the beginning but got separated during the mass exodus from the oven and that's just never mentioned, or are cookies now independently reproducing outside of the oven? if the witch isn't making new cookies but cookies are reproducing themselves, how does cookie reproduction work? how do cookie genetics work? what are the cultural customs for cookie families? etc.
    • alchemist cookie and vampire cookie are siblings, who are their parents?
    • are dark enchtantress cookie and matcha cookie sisters, cousins, or something else?
    • are eggnog cookie and butterbear cookie brothers, cousins, or something else?
    • cherry cookie, cherry blossom cookie, and cherry ball cookie are sisters, who are their parents?
    • dark enchantress cookie is clearly already red velvet themed so are she and red velvet cookie related?
    • dino-sour and sour belt are siblings, who are their parents?
    • dr. wasabi cookie calls mustard cookie her "favourite granddaughter"; who are dr. wasabi's other granddaughters? who all and where is the rest of their family?
    • habanero cookie is peperoncino cookie's son, who is habanero cookie's mother?
    • pancake cookie and roll cake cookie are brothers, who are their parents?
    • pond dino cookie being part dinosaur and part cookie implies that a cookie and a dinosaur have mated and reproduced, how is that possible and who are their parents?
    • potato cookie has 4 younger siblings, who are their parents?
    • princess cookie does refer to her father, which would inherently be a king cookie, what or where is he the king of? who is her mother?
    • red pepper cookie and chili pepper cookie are siblings, who are their parents?
    • walnut cookie is almond cookie's daughter, who is walnut's mother?
    • what are the genetic specifications that cause some cookies with similar ingredients to be related but not others?
      • chocolate-based cookies: why are dark choco and dark cacao related to each other but none of the other chocolate-based cookies (white choco, pink choco, mint choco, choco ball, chess choco, chocolate bonbon, & cocoa), who are also not related to one another at all? why is red velvet cookie not considered one of the choco cookies that simply has additional ingredients given most of the other chocolate-based cookies aren't pure chocolate either?
      • pepper-based cookies: why are only some related and not all of them to each other? peperoncino and habanero are related, chili pepper and red pepper are related, but those 2 sets arent said to be related to each other or to peppercorn or bell pepper, why?
        • if genus is enough reason to make cookies related to one another as in the pepper situation, drupe-based cookies should all be related somehow, which includes walnut, almond, all of the cherry-based cookies, plum, peach, jujube, pistachio, all of the coffee-based cookies, & mango cookie
      • why aren't any of the coffee-based cookies (tiramisu, coffee candy, latte, cappucino, coffee, espresso, mocha ray) related somehow?
    • why is mocha ray cookie the only aquatic cookie with coffee or chocolate as an ingredient? why does she even have coffee or chocolate as an ingredient when lobster, anglerfish, and octopus cookie can simply be the sea creature-based cookies they are?
  • if cookies escaped the witch's house and they live on earthbread, the witch's house must be on earthbread, implying humans are still alive and functioning on earthbread; how were cookies able to develop their society? where is it and how is it kept safe from humans?
  • if the witch created the cookies and was going to eat them and dark enchantress cookie is an enchantress that is trying to bring about eternal darkness to earthbread, is dark enchantress cookie the witch's cookiesona?
  • it has been confirmed by canon that devil cookie was indeed once an angel cookie, and several cookies refer to faith, light, and the divine (e.g. milk cookie, mocha ray cookie, octopus cookie; and in kingdom, crepe cookie refers to what seems to be cookie bible verses and there are literally cookies with "priest" and "sister" in their names), implying a vast array of concepts for cookie religion; are cookies monotheistic? is there a concept of sacrilege for cookies? does angel cookie originate from cookie heaven and does devil cookie usually reside in cookie hell after having fallen? who are the author(s) of the cookie bible? etc.
  • (kingdom related) why is red velvet cookie an outcast due to being partially cake when there are several other cake-related cookies (birthday cake cookie, pancake cookie, roll cake cookie, cheesecake cookie) that have never once been commented on as being an abomination?
    • why are the cookies who are made of entirely inedible things (e.g. vampire cookie, pilot cookie, ninja cookie) not also considered against the purity of cookieness when cake and cookies have the same ingredients (albeit in different ratios)? what is the discrepancy in purity that makes cake unacceptable but literally everything else, including things that arent even foods, okay?
    • would strawberry cookie be rejected from society if the others knew her flavoring was artificial? would an organic strawberry flavored cookie look different from the canon one that's made with artificial flavoring?
  • several cookies refer to school, what do cookies learn in school? what is the typical academic course roster for cookies? do cookies require the same education and certifications that humans do for various careers? how do cookie careers differ in human ones given the biological condition of cookies and the unique dangers they face from their composition? etc.
  • the cookies are said to live on earthbread and the existence of space doughnut cookie implies that earthbread is also part of a cookie equivalent to outer space, so what other celestial bodies exist in the cookieverse aside from earthbread?
  • the existence of millennial tree implies that cookies have been on earthbread for indeed millennia, how many times have there been a mass exodus from the oven? who developed cookie society and what is the history of cookiekind? do cookies have genetics that allow features to skip generations allowing their flavors to persist through time?
  • the recent fashion event in ovenbreak confirmed that fashion trends evolve over time the same way they do for humans, but where did the origin of cookies wearing clothes come from? when did it start? if gingerbrave is considered mostly naked, which he often is, is he the adam of earthbread? who decided cookies needed to be clothed and when? who discovered the development of textiles in the cookieverse after escaping the oven?
  • what is the biological status of zombie cookie? what is it that makes zombie cookie able to function as a reanimated cookie? who was zombie cookie before death?
  • what is the evolutionary history of the flora and fauna on earthbread? when did cookiekind deviate from other sweets-based sentient creatures in the evolutionary lineage?
  • why are some cookies said to be composed of the ingredient(s) of which they are named (e.g. lime cookie, cocoa cookie) and others are not (e.g. blueberry pie cookie, pizza cookie)? and what of cookies who have names that are not food-based at all (e.g. shining glitter cookie, adventurer cookie)? are those cookies also composed of the ingredients of which they are named or are they just enthusiasts for those things? does cheerleader cookie have cheerleaders as an ingredient and werewolf cookie has werewolves as an ingredient the same way peppermint has mint as an ingredient and mango cookie has mango as an ingredient? if not, what differentiates cookies such that they are named based on what they're literally made of vs. what their personality/behavior/interests are?
  • why did they call red velvet cookie's dogs "cake hounds" and not "pupcakes" or "hound cakes"? (as a pun on cupcakes or pound cakes)
  • why does every other underwater cookie have full-range cognitive abilities and are capable of verbalizing effectively except squid ink? if squid ink and octopus cookie both have monster forms but are regular cookies outside of those forms, why is squid ink so much less developed?
  • why have none of the adult cookies who have interacted with chestnut cookie (particularly almond, who is a cop) commented on or shown concern about chestnut cookie's child labor or allusions to starvation? why does poverty still exist in cookie society and why is nothing being done about it?
  • why is lobster cookie's pet clearly manipulating them for their own gain when every other pet has a positive relationship with their cookie? now that eerie angler has decided lobster cookie is useless to them as of this most recent event and abandoned them, causing lobster cookie to need a new prosthetic claw, is lobster cookie going to get a new combi pet sometime that isn't evil?

things from the game that are just factually incorrect and make autism mad:

  • one of octopus cookie's dialogues is "for ages untold, i have been enveloped in the darkness..." mocha ray cookie specifically said that she and lobster had been wandering around the ocean after the destruction of sugarteara for some years, which octopus cookie had left just prior to. a few years is not ages untold at all.
  • one of peppercorn cookie's dialogues is "ha, can't fool me twice!" that is not true. the entire premise of her storyline is specifically that chili pepper objectively betrayed her like 3+ times.
  • one of the loading screen dialogues is "no other cookie in the cookie world compares to the bravery of gingerbrave" there is no way that there are no cookies that are even comparable to the bravery of gingerbrave. yes there are. i feel like the bravery it takes to escape from prison is at least on par with a cookie who has fought in a battle and subsequently lost a limb and had to get a prosthetic (lobster), cookies who lost their entire hometown in a natural disaster (all of the sugarteara-dwelling cookies), a cookie who survived being experimented on by scientists (lemon), a cookie who fought to restore her entire village from being turned to stone after the betrayal of someone she trusted (rambutan), a cookie who had to watch his own timeline unravel along with the person that saved his life that he cherished most (string gummy), a cookie who got disowned by his family and forced to fight in a war against them due to being cursed (dark choco), etc. etc.
  • one of the loading screen dialogues is "the possible combis in breakout are truly endless!" that is not true. the amount of combis in breakout may be a large number but it is a finite number nonetheless because there are a finite number of cookies, pets, and treasures. it is objectively measurable and therefore not endless.
