- how excited they get every time they see a cat and how their voice goes up about 12 octaves and they say "hi!!!" specifically every time
- how much they value and respect me
- how much they've grown emotionally and mentally since we met, how hard they've worked to recover so they can be a good partner to me
- how predictable they are because of autism, being able to tell they're going to be all about something because i know what they like
- "i mean dolphins and ducks are pretty shitty as people"
- that aside from telling me they love me, they show that they do in their actions, by being considerate of me both in their behavior towards me directly and of their own behavior in general and how their actions will affect me as their partner
- that their hair grows in literally every direction in an impossible comical way such that i've had to learn to stop fearing it's my fault when their haircut seems wonky
- that they're not afraid to admit they're wrong and always willing to change their behavior if it ends up being harmful
- that when they're struggling to form words at all i can generally glean what they're going to say when they can't say it and i'm spot on basically every time
- the way they infodump
- the way they scrunch their face when they've tried to say something and its come out entirely screebled and incomprehensible
- their guilty dog style avoidance of eye contact when i've called them out on something
- "if i hide under the blanket you can't be right" in response to me confronting them about how their pain probably isn't getting better on account of them not actually doing a single thing to improve it
- their little t-rex arm position when they're shuffling around not remembering what they were about to do or too sleepy to process
- when their sentence or "i love you" comes out as a series of sounds instead of words and i still completely understand what they were trying to say
