• we are our decisions
  • when you start to feel sad and left out because of exclusion or favoritism, or whatever reason, feeling like you are given less learning opportunities, remember that you are so much stronger than that and are able to make any situation into a good one
  • remember that you have more power inside yourself than you know and that all you have to do is ask a question or open a book
  • exercise is important and can make you feel better
  • reaching out to others and dreaming can also make you feel better because you feel like you are planning a better future than the one you might be currently with
  • life is so full of opportunities and possibilities that you can't begin to imagine, so don't ever for a second give up on it. you need to try with all your might because you have no idea
  • try to love the people around you and show how you feel for them slowly because one day, those people will be gone and you won't get the chance to tell them then
  • feel light hearted around people a bit more, open and make yourself more approachable, you never know the opportunities that may come from it (have to remember that one)
  • you never know when you will bring out the best in somebody, and you never know when you will meet the person who will take you home semisonic closing time style
  • remember your heart and talk to patients who give you themselves, it's the special privilege while learning as a medical student and you should fully embrace they offer to teach you. I promise you, your heart and soul will thank you for the chicken soup.
  • build an interest in knowing things, don't be half assed about it, you never know when you will meet the same person with the same interests and you will be truly ready then
  • laugh more and build an interest in people more
  • and remember: you're gonna be alright.
