- 01 | u. new year’s day! worked for part of the day, but hey, pay is time and a half so i can’t complain. spent the evening with the littles and introduced them to sparkling grape juice. d and i played rimworld until midnight.
- 02 | m. mostly spent the day making preparations to travel. napped a bit. let the littles use their surprise bath bombs. received a surprising but good message from a friend, and the night rounded out in a large thunderstorm.
- 03 | t. travel to austin; long hours in the car, but i enjoyed my company. we arrived around 10:30pm and stayed up way late with his family talking and playing regicide.
- 04 | w. spent the day shopping with d; we went to the mall and half price books. wrapped the boys presents and played regicide that evening with jack and jacque.
- 05 | r. we made a run to heb for some products while d's mom got the boys. first they opened birthday presents, then we told them the plans about christmas presents.
- 06 | f. spent like 4 hours at cidercade in austin and it was amazing. when we got back, we cooked million dollar pasta, which everyone seemed to enjoy. that evening we played grim masquerade with the boys and his mom. later that night, we played phase 10.
- 07 | s. had christmas and birthday lunch with d's family at george o's. some stuff went down, but we'll not get into that right now. afterwards, they took the boys to the park for awhile and i read a bit of herbarium. later the evening, we played betrayal at the house on the hill where d brutally murdered my character. XD
- 08 | u. this was a rough day. i didn't feel well the entire day, so d took the boys to the mall to get their last christmas present. that evening we had dinner with a friend of his at a mexican place, and that night we played five crowns with his mom. d and i had a few very long conversations based on something he said that evening and we didn't go to sleep until really late.
- 09 | m. after we got up, we packed and drove to dallas; it took about 3 hours. there we hung out with his dad and brother and talked about a lot of ttrpgs, anime, and video games. his brother gifted us both a game called cosmoteer; we hoped to play together but it wouldn't work on his brother's mac. that evening we had supper at a local - nearly historic - pancake house and then we watched the first two volumes of martian successor nadesico. i'll have to watch the rest soon.
