- did i go on a holiday? -- kind of. i went to dc to celebrate passing my defense

- growth -- rewriting most of my thesis. finding demisexuality.
- how did i celebrate my birthday? i went to evolve with a and p, and ate a homemade cake
- interesting news stories -- of course, kavanaugh.
- love life? pretty nonexistent, which is ok. i had a major crush on a coworker last summer. it didn't go anywhere, but it probably shouldn't have.
- most embarrassing moment -- getting let go, but i'm relieved.
- most important lesson learned -- sometimes the kindest thing is to be yourself.
- new friends -- not really new, but h came through for me in a big way.
- pleasant surprises -- midterms!
